Who we are
WearDrobe, the app and the website at weardrobe.io, is run by THREE AXIS SOLUTIONS - F.Z.C ("we", "us"), Ajman Free Zone C1 Building, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions go to privacy@weardrobe.io.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, name and username, and a password if you set one (stored only as a hash). If you sign in with Google on the website, your Google account ID.
- Profile and style: anything you choose to tell us during onboarding or in Settings, such as gender, style preferences, height, weight, body type, skin undertone, sizes and your city.
- Photos: photos of you, including full-body photos, and photos of your clothes; the try-on images and outfit boards made from them; and the looks you save.
- What you write: messages to the AI stylist, planner events (titles, dates, places and notes) and any reports you send us.
- Location: if you allow it, your device's approximate location, used once to look up the local weather. We don't store it with your account.
- Purchases: your plan, its status and renewal dates. Payments are handled by Apple, Google or Stripe; we never see your full card details.
- Device and usage: a push notification token, the app version, when you were last active, your IP address (for security and rate limiting) and crash reports (the error, the screen and the app version).
How we use it
- To run WearDrobe: your wardrobe, try-ons, the AI stylist, the planner, weather-aware suggestions and notifications.
- To manage your plan and the limits of the free tier.
- To keep the service safe: preventing abuse, fraud and attacks, and enforcing our Terms.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to find and fix problems.
We don't show ads, we don't sell or rent your personal data, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Your photos and AI
WearDrobe uses outside AI providers, fal.ai and OpenAI, to do its work. We ask for your permission before anything is sent to them, with the checkbox when you sign up (and again whenever this policy changes in a way that matters).
- fal.ai receives photos of you and of your clothes to make try-on images, cut your clothes out of their background and make outfit boards.
- OpenAI receives photos of your clothes to recognise them, and may receive photos of you for some try-ons. It also receives your messages to the stylist, together with a description of your wardrobe, your style preferences, your city and the weather, to answer them and to choose outfits.
Each provider processes this data to return a result to us, under its own terms. OpenAI's terms for its API say that data sent through the API is not used to train its models. WearDrobe does not use your photos to train AI models, and never shares them with advertisers.
If we switch image generation to another provider for reliability (Comfy Org's ComfyUI Cloud, or RunPod), the same photos go there for the same purpose.
Who else we share data with
Only the companies that run WearDrobe for us, and only what each needs:
- Railway: hosting, database and job queue.
- Cloudflare: storage of your photos and generated images (R2).
- fal.ai, OpenAI, and if used Comfy Org and RunPod: AI processing, as described above.
- Resend: sending emails such as sign-in codes.
- Expo, Apple and Google: delivering push notifications.
- Open-Meteo: the weather, from a city name or coordinates only, never your account details.
- Google: signing in with Google on the website.
- Stripe: payments for plans bought on the website.
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google: subscriptions bought in the app.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect people's safety or our rights.
What other people can see
Your wardrobe, photos, try-ons and chats are private. A look you choose to share appears in Discover with your display name and profile picture, until you stop sharing it. People can report a shared look or block its creator.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings, then Delete account) or on the website (Settings, then Delete account).
Deleting your account deletes your profile, photos, wardrobe, try-ons, looks, chats and planner straight away from our live systems and storage. Copies that remain in backups are erased within 30 days. AI providers may keep data they processed for a limited time under their own terms (OpenAI, for example, up to 30 days to monitor abuse).
We keep payment and tax records for as long as the law requires. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Your rights
You can see and correct most of your data in the app. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, or to stop or limit how we use it, by emailing privacy@weardrobe.io. You can withdraw your permission for AI processing at any time by deleting your account; we can't run the service without it. Depending on where you live (for example the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, the United Kingdom or California) you may have further rights, including complaining to your data protection authority.
Children
WearDrobe is not for children under 13, or under the minimum age where you live. If we learn that a child's account exists, we delete it.
Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and your photos are stored encrypted. Sign-in tokens are kept in your device's secure keychain. We limit how often anyone can call our servers to protect accounts from guessing and abuse. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.
Where data is processed
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and our providers process data in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws from yours.
Changes
When we change this policy we update the date above. If a change matters to how your data is used, we ask you to agree again in the app before you carry on.
